Bus ride along the Patagonian steppe by the Southern coast of Lake Argentino, going past Buenos Aires hill (40 kms) up to Los Glaciares National Park. Once in the National Park, a Lengas forest (High Deciduous Beech Tree) by the Magallanes peninsula can be seen.
At the viewpoint, there are footpaths that lead to the Rico Arm and the Témpanos Channel (just before the Glacier) from where different views of Perito Moreno Glacier can be enjoyed. The trip takes around 2 hours (80 kms of gravel road) and there are daily departures. |
